Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Arthur Sampaio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cássio Costa's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. After having played for 8 minutes, Raimundo Saraiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Goyaninha EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raimundo Saraiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Téo Alvarenga kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Waldir Teles took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arthur Sampaio. Celsolandia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cássio Costa in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arthur Sampaio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Celsolandia's Arthur Sampaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Paulo Torres in the 22nd minute of play. Geraldo Zanette made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Zé Carlos Carneiro sent off a good shot on target. Zé Carlos Carneiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geraldo Zanette read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Jonathan Ramalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Arthur Sampaio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Celsolandia's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Ramalho came free, but Arthur Sampaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cássio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute, Jonathan Ramalho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cássio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evandro Cosme to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Cássio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goyaninha EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cássio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arthur Sampaio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arthur Sampaio made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Jonathan Ramalho sent off a good shot on target. Jonathan Ramalho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Arthur Sampaio made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Goyaninha EC's zone, Zé Carlos Carneiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geraldo Zanette came out of the goal and Zé Carlos Carneiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cássio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Arthur Sampaio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Celsolandia's Arthur Sampaio got control of the ball when Jonathan Ramalho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Evandro Cosme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 99th minute, Zé Carlos Carneiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Celsolandia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
