Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ramiro Tande made the kick off and thus started the match. 7 minutes into the match, Macuje's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Tande came free, but Robinho Bittencourt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Macuje's Luís Gustavo Medeiros got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Macuje's Luís Gustavo Medeiros got a free kick in the 13th minute. Guaraniacu's Ian Mello got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Robinho Bittencourt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Mello in the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th match minute, Macuje was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flávio Linhares to maneuver through the defense. Robinho Bittencourt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Luiz Magalhães, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Nelson Barral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Mello in the 27th minute of play forced Macuje's goalkeeper Robinho Bittencourt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adolfo Toscano made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Nelson Barral sent off a good shot on target. Adolfo Toscano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Gustavo Medeiros in the 31st minute of the match. If Luís Gustavo Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Luís Gustavo Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Macuje's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Gustavo Medeiros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adolfo Toscano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nelson Barral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Adolfo Toscano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelson Barral in the 55th minute of play forced Guaraniacu's goalkeeper Adolfo Toscano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Luís Gustavo Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valdomiro Freitas charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valdomiro Freitas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Valdomiro Freitas hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Macuje's Sílvio Luiz de Sena tried to score from far away in the 88th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Reinaldo Cavalcante fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guaraniacu's protests and gave Reinaldo Cavalcante a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Macuje booed when Guaraniacu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinaldo Cavalcante didn't get a good kick on the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
