In the 10th minute of the match Gildo Queiroz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ian Antunes skillfully saved the ball. Ian Antunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joélson de Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Charles Motta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gino Toscano, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Cacá Marinhos short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Charles Motta to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Mário Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ian Antunes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joélson de Queiroz's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Catajal's zone, Gino Toscano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charles Motta came out of the goal and Gino Toscano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 44 minutes, Dida Porto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Catajal and the Sarvuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sarvuela booed when Catajal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dida Porto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gino Toscano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gino Toscano to strike the kick off in the second half. Charles Motta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cacá Marinho's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. If Cacá Marinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Catajal getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Caco Carvalho hit a great ball. Charles Motta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gino Toscano in the 64th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cacá Marinho in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Charles Motta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sarvuela's Ian Antunes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Sarvuela from getting a goal against them. 76 minutes into the game, Cacá Marinho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Charles Motta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Sarvuela's Cacá Marinho in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Catajal's goalie prevented a goal. If Cacá Marinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sarvuela had played much better football throughout.
