Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Claudinei Pinheiro started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the match, Unai's goal looked a bit too open when Cauã Félix came free, but Francisco Prado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Joélson Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 8th minute, Cauã Félix made a precise shot to the right of Francisco Prado. Unai's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Claudinei Pinheiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Evandro Mineiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unai's supporters rose to their feet, but Evandro Mineiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Igor Coelho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Joélson Pinheiro came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Unai fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joélson Pinheiro couldn't finish the play. After 23 played minutes Sucurizinho got a freekick which was hit by Genílson de Queirós. Joélson Pinheiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Igor Coelho made a huge save. Evandro Mineiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francisco Prado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claudinei Pinheiro went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Túlio Nascimento during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Unai booed when Sucurizinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Túlio Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Cauã Félix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Evandro Mineiro was the one to do the kick off. Igor Coelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evandro Mineiro in the 52nd minute of play. After 55 played minutes Claudinei Pinheiro rounded Unai's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. Cauã Félix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Prado having to interfere. Francisco Prado was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Claudinei Pinheiro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Claudinei Pinheiro really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Genílson de Queirós's late challenge caught a Unai's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Genílson de Queirós helped the player get up and apologised. After 64 played minutes Sucurizinho got a freekick which was hit by Genílson de Queirós. In the 70thth minute of the game Joélson Pinheiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sucurizinho's Igor Coelho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Joélson Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 74 minutes, Cícero Ribeiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Unai and the Sucurizinho players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 74th minute, Cícero Ribeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78thth minute of the game Joélson Pinheiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sucurizinho's Igor Coelho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joélson Pinheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Coelho having to interfere. Sucurizinho's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
