Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Evandro Mineiro got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrique Quirino in the 5th minute of play forced Unai's goalkeeper Francisco Prado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dorian Braga took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Francisco Prado. Unai's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 11 played minutes Unai got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Mello. The supporters of Borboleta SS booed when Unai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerônimo Neiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Paulo Rosado's late challenge caught a Unai's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Paulo Rosado helped the player get up and apologised. José Paulo Rosado kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Evandro Mineiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unai's supporters rose to their feet, but Evandro Mineiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oscar Albuquerque breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cícero Ribeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cícero Ribeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Unai getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Cícero Ribeiro hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Unai's Ramiro Mello got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After having played for 27 minutes, Délio Linhares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borboleta SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Délio Linhares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Borboleta SS's José Paulo Rosado got a free kick in the 30th minute. Francisco Prado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chico Gaúcho in the 33rd minute of the match. If Joélson Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When José Paulo Rosado was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 43 minutes had been played. A collision led to Borboleta SS getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. José Paulo Rosado hit a great ball. Joélson Pinheiro took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oscar Albuquerque. Oscar Albuquerque dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chico Gaúcho was the one to do the kick off. Délio Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Prado having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Evandro Mineiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oscar Albuquerque was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Chico Gaúcho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Unai's Evandro Mineiro got a free kick in the 82nd minute. If Chico Gaúcho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Borboleta SS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Unai.
