Yan de Medeiros made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Noel Senna sent off a good shot on target. In the 40th minute Guilherme Arce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yan de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Custódio Pirani to make the kick off. Jucaral's Yan de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noel Senna in the 56th minute of play. Custódio Pirani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Custódio Pirani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Elano Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Jucaral's Custódio Pirani slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Elano Mendes. That made the score 0-2 after 65 minutes of play. Noel Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Jucaral getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Alessandro Massa hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the match, Caxanga's goal looked a bit too open when Custódio Pirani came free, but Elano Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Caxanga booed when Jucaral was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan de Toledo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dadá Vander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Elano Mendes made a huge save. When the match was over Jucaral could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Caxanga throughout the match.
