Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Giovani Medeiros got the match started through his kick off. Josué Pinho came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Tuive's Arlindo da Rocha. But to his dismay, Arlindo da Rocha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 15th minute, Gildo de Mendonça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Charles Vergílio, 16 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Alfredo Xavier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovani Medeiros in the 18th minute of play. If Giovani Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giovani Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gino Sena's late challenge caught a Ivahy AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gino Sena helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th minute, Gino Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 31 minutes of play, Ivahy AD's Matías Castro made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfredo Xavier was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Ivahy AD's zone, Arlindo da Rocha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josué Pinho came out of the goal and Arlindo da Rocha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emanuel Neves charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuel Neves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 37th match minute, Ivahy AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Neves to maneuver through the defense. Matías Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Josué Pinho came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Tuive's Denílson Azevedo. But to his dismay, Denílson Azevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After a rather tough play, Tuive's Gustavo Amorim got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Denílson Azevedo was the one to do the kick off. Arlindo da Rocha's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 51stth minute, Josué Pinho skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Giovani Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ivahy AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Giovani Medeiros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Xavier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Ivahy AD's zone, Arlindo da Rocha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josué Pinho came out of the goal and Arlindo da Rocha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denílson Azevedo in the 60th minute of play forced Ivahy AD's goalkeeper Josué Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denílson Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Josué Pinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denílson Azevedo in the 63rd minute of play forced Ivahy AD's goalkeeper Josué Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arlindo da Rochas short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Josué Pinho to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tuive's Alfredo Xavier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matías Castro in the 79th minute of play. Arlindo da Rocha struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Josué Pinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tuive. Alfredo Xavier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovani Medeiros in the 91st minute of play. After having played for 93 minutes, Arlindo da Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tuive's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arlindo da Rocha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Denílson Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
