Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Giovani Medeiros took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cacal's zone, Matías Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raúl Montenegro came out of the goal and Matías Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Matías Castro sped through Cacal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Raúl Montenegro. Josué Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovânio Rodrigues, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Ivahy AD's Josué Pinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovânio Rodrigues in the 17th minute of play. Josué Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovânio Rodrigues in the 20th minute of the match. Raí Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matías Castro struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Raúl Montenegro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ivahy AD. The supporters of Cacal booed when Ivahy AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Quaresma didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Geovânio Rodrigues was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Giovani Medeiros took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Raúl Montenegro to make any attempt to save it. Matías Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute, Giovani Medeiros reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Raúl Montenegro. The goal made the score 1-4. When Orlando Gerber fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 69th match minute, Ivahy AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Gerber to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Raí Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cacal's supporters rose to their feet, but Raí Fernandes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Josué Pinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 73 minutes into the match, Matías Castro notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Cacal's Raúl Montenegro. Raúl Montenegro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giovani Medeiros in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raúl Montenegro saved Cacal from getting behind. Giovani Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raúl Montenegro having to interfere. Geovânio Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Josué Pinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Geovânio Rodrigues came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Cacal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geovânio Rodrigues couldn't finish the play.
