The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardinho Duarte got free with Ciro de Toledo in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 55thth minute of the game Ramiro Travassos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deliciosa's Ciro de Toledo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 57 minutes, Tony Secco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deliciosa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tony Secco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Cristian Coutinho fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chapadinha's protests and gave Cristian Coutinho a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Chapadinha getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Cristian Coutinho hit a great ball. In the 95thth minute of the game Ramiro Travassos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deliciosa's Ciro de Toledo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chapadinha players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Deliciosa.
