Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Albertinho Carioca put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Vinícius Secco. Vinícius Secco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Carioca, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barreirao's goalkeeper Guilherme Guerra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 10 minutes, Ernani Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quecaba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernani Amaral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Barreirao fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Barreirao's Albertinho Carioca looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Leonel Carioca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinícius Secco having to interfere. If Albertinho Carioca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the match, Quecaba's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Carioca came free, but Vinícius Secco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th match minute, Quecaba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Durval Cearense to maneuver through the defense. Leonel Carioca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Quecaba defense, Albertinho Carioca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vinícius Secco. The Quecaba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vinícius Secco should have stopped the shot. Vinícius Secco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Carioca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albertinho Carioca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adalmo Duarte during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Barreirao getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Adalmo Duarte hit a great ball. Quecaba's Vinícius Secco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albertinho Carioca in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Barreirao were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, André Luís de Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quecaba's supporters rose to their feet, but André Luís de Medeiros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guilherme Guerra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Michel Monteiro fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barreirao's protests and gave Michel Monteiro a yellow card for diving instead. After 54 played minutes Barreirao got a freekick which was hit by Michel Monteiro. In the 56th minute Abel Braga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme Guerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Barreirao's Leonel Carioca in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quecaba's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Carioca in the 66th minute of play forced Quecaba's goalkeeper Vinícius Secco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonel Carioca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Quecaba getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Guilherme Tinoco hit a great ball. Guilherme Guerra came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Quecaba's Ernani Amaral. But to his dismay, Ernani Amaral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Albertinho Carioca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Carioca in the 81st minute of play forced Quecaba's goalkeeper Vinícius Secco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Barreirao's Laerte Vianna got a free kick in the 84th minute. Leonel Carioca was extremely unlucky when he, in the 86th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 87th match minute, Quecaba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Róbson Nunes to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd match minute, Barreirao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubens Gaúcho to maneuver through the defense. Hortêncio Toscano missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 95 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Guilherme Guerra right hand side. When the final whistle sounded Barreirao left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Quecaba.
