Doni Urbano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Doni Urbano in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nilton Correia saved Paraguai FC from getting behind. Doni Urbano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilton Correia having to interfere. In the 16th match minute, Bucuituba EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robinho Nóbrega to maneuver through the defense. Joel Faria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armandinho Pombal, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. If Doni Urbano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Umberto Catarinense kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Júnior Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilton Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Tostão de Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraguai FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tostão de Alcântara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Faria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Júnior Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nilton Correia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júnior Andrade in the 36th minute of play. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bucuituba EC! When the match had been going on for 39 minutes, Paraguai FC's Umberto Catarinense got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Joel Faria. In the 44th minute, Júnior Andrade ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nilton Correia was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1.

Doni Urbano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nilton Correia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Júnior Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Nilton Correia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 56 in the game by Doni Urbano from a close distance when the talented Nilton Correia managed to make a qualified save. Paraguai FC's players were relieved. If Armandinho Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 65th minute, Tostão de Alcântara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67th minute Armandinho Pombal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Faria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doni Urbano might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nilton Correia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Doni Urbano ran back to his position shaking his head. Nilton Correia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júnior Andrade in the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rd play minute Doni Urbano came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Nilton Correia. 1-2. Robinho Nóbrega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Nilton Correia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joel Faria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armandinho Pombal, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Tostão de Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Faria having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Armandinho Pombal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joel Faria. Bucuituba EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armandinho Pombal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Bucuituba EC's Doni Urbano got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Doni Urbano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilton Correia having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Júnior Andrade had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nilton Correia. Paraguai FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Júnior Andrade was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Bucuituba EC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
