Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cristian Zilles started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Cristian Zilles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimir Proença having to interfere. The supporters of Golabeira SC booed when Diadema was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edson Valle's late challenge caught a Diadema's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edson Valle helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Golabeira SC's Edson Valle got a free kick in the 9th minute. When Diadema's Cristian Zilles in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Golabeira SC's goalie prevented a goal. Duda Damião showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Cafu Cordeiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vladimir Proença having to make a save. Duda Damião was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ramiro Prado showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 27 minute of play. Vladimir Proença made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Zilles in the 30th minute of play. When Abelardo Rocha was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 34 minutes had been played. In the 34th match minute, Diadema was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Rocha to maneuver through the defense. Duda Damião showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramiro Prado in the 35th minute of the match. In the 37th minute Cafu Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimir Proença saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 40 played minutes Golabeira SC got a freekick which was hit by Diego Abreu. The Diadema fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Diadema's Cafu Cordeiro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

When Gustavo Guerra fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Diadema's protests and gave Gustavo Guerra a yellow card for diving instead. Gustavo Guerra kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Duda Damião took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manfredo Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 62 minutes, Horácio Fontes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Diadema and the Golabeira SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67thth minute of the game Manfredo Cruz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Diadema's Duda Damião was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Diadema getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Cristian Zilles hit a great ball. Manfredo Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Duda Damião tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramiro Prado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th minute, Golabeira SC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cafu Cordeiro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Vladimir Proença showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Zilles, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Horácio Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Vladimir Proença tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cristian Zilles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
