The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mané Marques was the one to do the kick off. Mané Marques might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geraldo Varela. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mané Marques ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cauan Marques during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cauan Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. João Francisco Tróia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Pindaiba EC's zone, Oséas Quaresma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jean Barral came out of the goal and Oséas Quaresma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oséas Quaresma in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jean Barral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jean Barral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oséas Quaresma went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Oséas Quaresma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean Barral having to interfere. After 90 played minutes Pindaiba EC got a freekick which was hit by Caco Dante. João Francisco Tróia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Jean Barral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Oséas Quaresma came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Cardozo SC fans jumped to their feet. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Francisco Tróia in the 96th minute of play forced Pindaiba EC's goalkeeper Jean Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
