Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vágner Hoffmann got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Jatai's goalkeeper Joaquim Mandrak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cesinha Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilton Mazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Cafungo FC fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Cafungo FC's Guga Gaúcho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 20thth minute of the game Carlinhos de Amaral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jatai's Joaquim Mandrak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Guga Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Mandrak having to interfere. Joaquim Mandrak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlinhos de Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 31 minutes, Guga Gaúcho made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Jatai's Joaquim Mandrak tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Cesinha Silveira was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 34 minutes had been played. The supporters of Cafungo FC booed when Jatai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesinha Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 41 minutes into the game, Guga Gaúcho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Joaquim Mandrak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Guga Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Mandrak having to interfere. Carlinhos de Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Joaquim Mandrak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlinhos de Amaral made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Carlinhos de Amaral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquim Mandrak was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Carlinhos de Amaral did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised Joaquim Mandrak 61 minutes into the match. Joaquim Mandrak made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Guga Gaúcho sent off a good shot on target. An unexpected shot in the 66th minute by Guga Gaúcho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience was convinced that Carlinhos de Amaral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquim Mandrak was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. In the 71st minute, Carlinhos de Amaral reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Joaquim Mandrak. The goal made the score 0-5. Joaquim Mandrak was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Carlinhos de Amaral showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 78 minute of play. Carlinhos de Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guga Gaúcho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquim Mandrak having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vágner Hoffmann in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelo Branco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guga Gaúcho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vágner Hoffmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guga Gaúchos short, quick shot in the 97thth minute got Joaquim Mandrak to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cafungo FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
