The crowd rose to their feet as Josué Oliveira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lucas Damião. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. When Campo EC's Silas Palmeira in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Caririacu FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Josué Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonel Vander charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonel Vander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Campo EC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Leonel Vander hit a great ball. When Caririacu FC's Josué Oliveira in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Campo EC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 18th minute Josué Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Damião saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Campo EC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Murilo Lucas hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Emílio Dracena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caririacu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emílio Dracena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucas Damião breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Campo EC's Richard Leal was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Guga Cardoso in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 41 minutes, Armando Moreira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caririacu FC and the Campo EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st match minute, Caririacu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Moreira to maneuver through the defense. If Murilo Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Leonel Vander made the kick off in the second half. Josué Oliveira struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Lucas Damião didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caririacu FC. Lucas Damião didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emílio Dracena went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silas Palmeira got free with Guga Cardoso in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emílio Dracena in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucas Damião prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Josué Oliveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Lucas Damião tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonel Vander blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guga Cardoso having to make a save. Lucas Damião showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josué Oliveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Emílio Dracena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Lucas Damião tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Josué Oliveira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucas Damião having to make a save. Kléberson Matos's late challenge caught a Campo EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kléberson Matos helped the player get up and apologised. Kléberson Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Caririacu FC's goalkeeper Guga Cardoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silas Palmeira. Leonel Vander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guga Cardoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Campo EC's goal looked a bit too open when Emílio Dracena came free, but Lucas Damião reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armando Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Lucas Damião tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Campo EC's goal looked a bit too open when Josué Oliveira came free, but Lucas Damião reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedrão Melo hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Caririacu FC fully deserved thier win.
