Campo EC's Lucas Damião played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamílton Prestes in the 3rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silas Palmeira got free with Ademar Sarmento in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 9 minutes into the match, Hamílton Prestes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucas Damião. Campo EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hamílton Prestes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 12thth minute of the game Hamílton Prestes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Campo EC's Lucas Damião was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hamílton Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Damião having to interfere. 20 minutes into the game, Campo EC's Silas Palmeira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ademar Sarmento made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Hamílton Prestes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lucas Damião showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laerte Veloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Laerte Veloso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucas Damião read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. In the 35th minute, Luisinho Vander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Campo EC's Richard Leal couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 36th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Suzano. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Murilo Lucas during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Murilo Lucas kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 39th minute of the match Jorge Vianna sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucas Damião skillfully saved the ball. In the 42ndth minute of the game Hamílton Prestes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Campo EC's Lucas Damião was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Suzano's Laerte Veloso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucas Damião made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonel Vander made a kick off. Lucas Damião took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laerte Veloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hamílton Prestes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedrão Pernambucano hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. If Laerte Veloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felipe Valladares took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lucas Damião. Campo EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Murilo Lucas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute Laerte Veloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Damião saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucas Damião came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Suzano's Hamílton Prestes. But to his dismay, Hamílton Prestes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 73 minutes into the match, Suzano's goal looked a bit too open when Silas Palmeira came free, but Ademar Sarmento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco de Barros's late challenge caught a Campo EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francisco de Barros helped the player get up and apologised. Francisco de Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Campo EC's Lucas Damião proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Campo EC from getting a goal against them. If Hamílton Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laerte Veloso struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Lucas Damião didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Suzano. Hamílton Prestes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Lucas Damião tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Campo EC's goalkeeper Lucas Damião had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hamílton Prestes. With a little luck, Campo EC's Lucas Damião got control of the ball when Hamílton Prestes tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 95 minutes of play Campo EC's Murilo Lucas was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 95th minute, Murilo Lucas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Suzano's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
