Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when José Nogueira took the kick off in the first half of the match. Crimeia FC's José Nogueira got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 12 minutes, Fernandinho Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crimeia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernandinho Rodrigues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Tacaratu's goal looked a bit too open when Fernandinho Rodrigues came free, but Benedito Lira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 16th minute of the game. One of Tacaratu:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Crimeia FC:s goal. Benedito Lira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Nogueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 28 minutes of play, Crimeia FC's Fernandinho Rodrigues made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benedito Lira was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Edson Fantini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tacaratu's supporters rose to their feet, but Edson Fantini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gildo Sena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 40th minute, Crimeia FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Edson Fantini fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benedito Medeiros to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Crimeia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benedito Medeiros came free, but Gildo Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Tacaratu booed when Crimeia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rony Vander struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Gildo Sena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tacaratu. Tacaratu's Benedito Medeiros got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Edson Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedito Lira having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Nogueira in the 81st minute of play forced Tacaratu's goalkeeper Benedito Lira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd match minute, Tacaratu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edson Fantini to maneuver through the defense. Benedito Medeiros scored 1-1 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gildo Sena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. José Nogueira was extremely unlucky when he, in the 94th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 96 minutes of play, Crimeia FC's Fernandinho Rodrigues made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benedito Lira was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle went the supporters of Crimeia FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Tacaratu side.
