Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Avobral SS's Silvério Almeida started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Franklin Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvério Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 7 minutes, Sidney Vieira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Avobral SS and the Cotaxe SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cotaxe SS booed when Avobral SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sidney Vieira didn't get a good kick on the ball. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 10th minute, but Franklin Miranda got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Cotaxe SS hanging dry this time. Franklin Miranda made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Igor Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. Sidney Vieira kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. When Serginho Galvão came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Cotaxe SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serginho Galvão couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute Silvério Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franklin Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo de Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serginho Galvão, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Gustavo de Lara came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Cotaxe SS's Serginho Galvão. But to his dismay, Serginho Galvão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Serginho Galvão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Gustavo de Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edson Nogueira in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustavo de Lara saved Avobral SS from getting behind. If Silvério Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Cotaxe SS's Armindo França got a free kick in the 41st minute. After having played for 42 minutes, Silvério Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Avobral SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvério Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Avobral SS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cotaxe SS were winning 0-2.

Edson Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Gustavo de Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Tostão Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armindo França kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Cotaxe SS:s Franklin Miranda showed great skill when he stopped Luís Trancoso:s penalty. After some careless play in the Cotaxe SS defense, Luís Trancoso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Franklin Miranda. The Cotaxe SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Franklin Miranda should have stopped the shot. In the 70th minute, Igor Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Silvério Almeida blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Franklin Miranda having to make a save. Avobral SS's Igor Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, Silvério Almeida notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Cotaxe SS's Franklin Miranda. Franklin Miranda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gustavo de Lara was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edson Nogueira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 82 minute of play. The supporters of Avobral SS booed when Cotaxe SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caetano Araújo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87thth minute of the game Silvério Almeida who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cotaxe SS's Franklin Miranda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 89 played minutes Cotaxe SS got a freekick which was hit by André Luís Ramalho. In the 90th minute, Luís Trancoso sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cotaxe SS's Franklin Miranda didn't even have to move. Jano Perez kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cotaxe SS's goalkeeper Franklin Miranda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Serginho Galvão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Cotaxe SS players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
