Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Bruninho da Silveira made the kick off and thus started the match. João Coutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 9 minutes into the match, João Coutinho notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Brigue AD's Gernando Cavalcante. Gernando Cavalcante was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Adelino Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brigue AD's Adelino Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adelino Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chicão Paraibano having to interfere. If Bruninho da Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, Brigue AD's goal looked a bit too open when Mazinho Campidelis came free, but Gernando Cavalcante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gernando Cavalcante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Coutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mazinho Campidelis in the 34th minute of play forced Brigue AD's goalkeeper Gernando Cavalcante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Brigue AD defense, Mazinho Campidelis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gernando Cavalcante. The Brigue AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gernando Cavalcante should have stopped the shot. In the 38th minute, Sílvio Vieira had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After 39 minutes, Claudinei de Brito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brigue AD and the Bartolomeu AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Brigue AD's Claudinei de Brito got a free kick in the 39th minute. After having played for 42 minutes, João Coutinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bartolomeu AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Coutinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute of the match Carlos Augusto Favoretto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gernando Cavalcante showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Bruninho da Silveira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chicão Paraibano was relentless in the 47th minute of the game.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when João Coutinho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Bruninho da Silveira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Chicão Paraibano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Brigue AD getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Eriberto Saldanha hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruninho da Silveira in the 59th minute of play forced Bartolomeu AD's goalkeeper Chicão Paraibano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Coutinho succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 61st playminute. Adelino Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If João Coutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Bruninho da Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bartolomeu AD's goalkeeper Chicão Paraibano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Brigue AD's zone, João Coutinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gernando Cavalcante came out of the goal and João Coutinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Claudinei de Brito got his second yellow card in the match during the 80th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Brigue AD's Claudinei de Brito got a free kick in the 81st minute. Mazinho Campidelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Gernando Cavalcante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Bartolomeu AD booed when Brigue AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcus Gerber didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Coutinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 97th minute Adelino Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chicão Paraibano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bartolomeu AD had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
