Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Washington da Costa took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Adolfo Seco during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Sardoa EC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. João Adolfo Seco hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Tomás Pontes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Washington da Costa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Tomás Pontes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 21st minute Juritianha FC were awarded a corner. Dagoberto Veloso went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Juritianha FC's corner Dagoberto Veloso fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tomás Pontes quite easily take care of the ball. Tomás Pontes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcel Guedes in the 22nd minute. After 24 minutes Sardoa EC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dagoberto Veloso who took care of the corner kick. Hílton Coutinho's late challenge caught a Juritianha FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hílton Coutinho helped the player get up and apologised. Hílton Coutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Sardoa EC defense, Washington da Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomás Pontes. The Sardoa EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomás Pontes should have stopped the shot. 38 minutes into the match, Juritianha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roger de Amorim came free, but Hortêncio Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Washington da Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juritianha FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sardoa EC the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovânio Pontes in the 40th minute of play forced Juritianha FC's goalkeeper Hortêncio Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ismael Penha during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th minute, Ismael Penha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Sardoa EC's Ramiro Moraes tried to score from far away in the 46th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roger de Amorim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Geovânio Pontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sardoa EC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! The audience thought a goal was coming when Geovânio Pontes got free with Hortêncio Arósio in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ramiro Moraes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hortêncio Arósio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. When Roger de Amorim came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Sardoa EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roger de Amorim couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd minute Roger de Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hortêncio Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Washington da Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcel Guedes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Tomás Pontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hortêncio Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger de Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Ismael Penha got his second yellow card in the match during the 90th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Ismael Penha hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute Roger de Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hortêncio Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Juritianha FC's zone, Roger de Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hortêncio Arósio came out of the goal and Roger de Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juritianha FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
