Emerson Alves made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Marcel Guedes sent off a good shot on target. Washington da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emerson Alves having to interfere. If Marcel Guedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emerson Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Washington da Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

51 minutes into the match, Juritianha FC's goalkeeper Hortêncio Arósio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Natanael de Lara. Renan Valadares received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hortêncio Arósio came out and tried to block the shot, but Renan Valadares slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 58th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Natanael de Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mangaratiba SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Natanael de Lara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hortêncio Arósio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 66th minute Renan Valadares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hortêncio Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcel Guedes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Emerson Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Washington da Costa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Juritianha FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Marcel Guedes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. The penalty shot was made by Dagoberto Veloso, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mangaratiba SS's Emerson Alves. 2-1. 87 minutes into the match, Mangaratiba SS's Renan Valadares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hortêncio Arósio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eugênio da Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Mangaratiba SS defense, Marcel Guedes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emerson Alves. The Mangaratiba SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emerson Alves should have stopped the shot.
