Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Roger de Amorim got the match started through his kick off. Tomás Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafim Paranaense in the 8th minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, João Adolfo Seco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sardoa EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Capoeirao the free kick. In the 9th minute, João Adolfo Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Capoeirao's Serafim Paranaense in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sardoa EC's goalie prevented a goal. Christian Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger de Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Roger de Amorim kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Christian Almeida. That made the score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. Serafim Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Pontes having to interfere. Roger de Amorim blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christian Almeida having to make a save. Wellington Mendonça struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Tomás Pontes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Capoeirao. After 27 played minutes Sardoa EC got a freekick which was hit by Maurício Prado. Serafim Paranaense's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomás Pontes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sardoa EC's zone, Serafim Paranaense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Pontes came out of the goal and Serafim Paranaense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th minute, Adriano Meireles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Sardoa EC's Ramiro Moraes tried to score from far away in the 40th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.

If Roger de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovânio Pontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Sardoa EC's Geovânio Pontes got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 62 minutes into the game, Válter Tróia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Capoeirao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sardoa EC the free kick. In the 62nd match minute, Capoeirao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Válter Tróia to maneuver through the defense. Christian Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger de Amorim in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Roger de Amorim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 74 minutes, Geovânio Pontes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sardoa EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geovânio Pontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christian Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovânio Pontes in the 88th minute of the match. Tomás Pontes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wellington Mendonça in the 92nd minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sardoa EC fully deserved thier win.
