Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edu Mandrak started the match with the kick off. Davi Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marecas's Décio Peixoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edu Mandrak in the 8th minute of play. Décio Peixoto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Davi Reis went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 15 minutes into the match, Guararema FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nando de Barros came free, but Nelson Pinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Marecas's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Oliveira came free, but Décio Peixoto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Décio Peixoto was a little too slow when Edu Mandrak got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 3-0. Nelson Pinho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nando de Barros's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. In the 33rd minute, Nando de Barros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nelson Pinho was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Davi Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Décio Peixoto having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edu Mandrak in the 49th minute of play forced Marecas's goalkeeper Décio Peixoto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nando de Barros was the one to do the kick off. When Teodoro Oliveira came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Guararema FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodoro Oliveira couldn't finish the play. Dinei Galvão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelson Pinho having to interfere. Nelson Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nando de Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 65 minutes into the game, Nando de Barros recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nelson Pinho. Nando de Barros showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. Edu Mandrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dinei Galvão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelson Pinho having to interfere. The supporters of Marecas booed when Guararema FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ediberto Veloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Nando de Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marecas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nando de Barros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Davi Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Décio Peixoto having to interfere. Valdemar Zonta kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Luiz Fernando Secco was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 94th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Nando de Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelson Pinho having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Guararema FC fully deserved thier win.
