Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Samuel de Carvalho got the match started through his kick off. After 4 played minutes Capoeiracu got a freekick which was hit by Agenor Mendonça. Capoeiracu's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Willian Lima 7 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Willian Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Paulo Freire having to interfere. If Acácio Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Acácio Jacinto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Capoeiracu's supporters rose to their feet, but Acácio Jacinto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sílvio de Queiroz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 24 minutes, Baltazar Vides mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tucunduva and the Capoeiracu players grew even worse after the yellow card. Baltazar Vides kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Roberto Matos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sílvio de Queiroz. Tucunduva's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Tucunduva getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Alfredão Braga hit a great ball. Sílvio de Queiroz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Acácio Jacinto went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 31 minutes into the match, Tucunduva's goal looked a bit too open when Acácio Jacinto came free, but Sílvio de Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Acácio Jacinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio de Queiroz having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Capoeiracu's Acácio Jacinto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sílvio de Queiroz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sílvio de Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Acácio Jacinto in the 41st minute of the match. Pedro Paulo Freire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willian Lima in the 46th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Willian Lima made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Capoeiracu defense, Afonsinho da Silva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Paulo Freire. The Capoeiracu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Paulo Freire should have stopped the shot. Pedro Paulo Freire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonsinho da Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Nando Freire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio de Queiroz having to interfere. If Samuel de Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Tucunduva's zone, Acácio Jacinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sílvio de Queiroz came out of the goal and Acácio Jacinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 73 played minutes Capoeiracu got a freekick which was hit by Nando Freire. After recieving a nice pass, Tucunduva's Baltazar Vides tried to score from far away in the 74th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Tucunduva's Alfredão Braga got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 85th match minute, Tucunduva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Cruz to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute of the match Roberto Matos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sílvio de Queiroz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tucunduva's Sílvio de Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Acácio Jacinto in the 87th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Dráuzio Mesquita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Paulo Freire. Capoeiracu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dráuzio Mesquita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 94th minute Willian Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Paulo Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Capoeiracu's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Tucunduva had won, even though Capoeiracu had held more of the ball.
