Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. José Queiroz started the match with the kick off. Manfredo Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Loyola in the 4th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Aljezur's zone, Marcelinho Prado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manfredo Mendonça came out of the goal and Marcelinho Prado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 12 minutes Aljezur's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jardel Rosa who took care of the corner kick. Manfredo Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Loyola in the 13th minute of play. Digo Ribeiro's late challenge caught a Aljezur's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Digo Ribeiro helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Brigido SS getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Digo Ribeiro hit a great ball. In the 24thth minute of the game Luiz Fábio Leal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brigido SS's Eurico da Mata was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Brigido SS's Marcelinho Prado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manfredo Mendonça narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelinho Prado got free with Manfredo Mendonça in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonas Loyola's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manfredo Mendonça read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Queiroz in the 38th minute of play forced Brigido SS's goalkeeper Eurico da Mata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Aljezur booed when Brigido SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Digo Ribeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute José Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eurico da Mata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Brigido SS booed when Aljezur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Fábio Leal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Aljezur's Manfredo Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelinho Prado in the 52nd minute of play. Manfredo Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Loyola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tony Medeiros hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Loyola in the 68th minute of play forced Aljezur's goalkeeper Manfredo Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eurico da Mata made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Fábio Leal in the 76th minute. Eurico da Mata made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Luiz Fábio Leal sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Brigido SS's Digo Ribeiro got a free kick in the 79th minute. Luiz Fábio Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Eurico da Mata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, José Pedro Severo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Queiroz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonas Loyola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manfredo Mendonça having to interfere. The supporters of Brigido SS booed when Aljezur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tony Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manfredo Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Loyola, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Brigido SS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jardel Rosa in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute Marcelinho Prado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manfredo Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Brigido SS supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Aljezur's performance. The match ended with a win for Aljezur.
