Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paulo José Coelho started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Faustão de Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Pequery SS getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Adhemar de Carvalho hit a great ball. Pequery SS's Jairo de Brito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Pequery SS from getting a goal against them. Alfredão Perez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Amadeu da Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 14 played minutes Taquapary FC got a freekick which was hit by Rogério do Vale. Amadeu da Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredão Perez in the 20th minute of the match. If Belchior Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 0-1 became the score in the 30th minute when Alfredão Perez elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Ramón Carvalho came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Taquapary FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramón Carvalho couldn't finish the play. Amadeu da Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo José Coelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Paulo José Coelho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amadeu da Costa was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. After the first half Pequery SS were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

52 minutes into the game, Cacá Cerezo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pequery SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Taquapary FC the free kick. A collision led to Pequery SS getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Cacá Cerezo hit a great ball. Jairo de Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramón Carvalho in the 57th minute of play. After 59 played minutes Pequery SS got a freekick which was hit by César Gerber. 70 minutes into the game, Ramón Carvalho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Jairo de Brito was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 76 minutes of play, Taquapary FC's Belchior Abreu made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jairo de Brito was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jairo de Brito came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Taquapary FC's Ramón Carvalho. But to his dismay, Ramón Carvalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. A collision led to Taquapary FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Amauri da Rocha hit a great ball. Pequery SS's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
