After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Durval Freitas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cotejipe's supporters rose to their feet, but Durval Freitas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilson Seco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Destino AD getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Hamílton Paes hit a great ball. If Durval Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Destino AD getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Valdomiro Soeiro hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Cotejipe's goalkeeper Thomás Passos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcelinho Freire. Thomás Passos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Cotejipe's Thomás Passos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Marques in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Sabóia in the 33rd minute of play forced Destino AD's goalkeeper Gilson Seco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelinho Freire could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Thomás Passos made a huge save. 39 minutes into the match, Destino AD's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Sabóia came free, but Gilson Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilson Seco came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Cotejipe's Cipriano Sabóia. But to his dismay, Cipriano Sabóia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1.

In the 52nd minute Durval Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilson Seco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Cipriano Sabóia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mauro Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the game, one of Destino AD:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 61st minute there was a penalty for Cotejipe. João Augusto Vander stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gilson Seco. 0-2. Thomás Passos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelinho Freire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute, one of Destino AD:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Destino AD. Marcelinho Freire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomás Passos having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cotejipe's Gildo Leão got a free kick in the 77th minute. Gildo Leão got his second yellow card in the match during the 82nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 82nd minute, Gildo Leão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes into the match, Cotejipe's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Marques came free, but Thomás Passos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Cipriano Sabóia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Nando de Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Destino AD's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cipriano Sabóia fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Thanks to some nice moves Cipriano Sabóia could shoot a difficult shot in the 95th minute, which Gilson Seco however easily saved by the left post. 97 minutes into the match, Destino AD's goalkeeper Gilson Seco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cipriano Sabóia. In the 100th play minute Cipriano Sabóia came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gilson Seco. 0-4. Cotejipe's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
