Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Josué Dante started the match with the kick off. Albertino Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Telmo Hermes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertino Medeiros having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Catuicara AD's zone, Josué Dante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albertino Medeiros came out of the goal and Josué Dante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Doni Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the match, Catuicara AD's goal looked a bit too open when Josué Dante came free, but Albertino Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After recieving a nice pass, Catuicara AD's Celsinho Corrêa tried to score from far away in the 30th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Edmundo Eger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilson Ceresso in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Gilson Ceresso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Telmo Hermes was shown his second yellow card after 38 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 39 played minutes Cabori got a freekick which was hit by Telmo Hermes. Leopoldo Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmundo Eger having to interfere. Leopoldo Lara in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Edmundo Eger, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ian Proença hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

53 minutes into the game, Tiago Lira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cabori's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Catuicara AD the free kick. In the 53rd match minute, Cabori was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Lira to maneuver through the defense. When Catuicara AD's Gilson Ceresso in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 81st minute, Doni Moraes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Doni Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had been going on for 88 minutes, Cabori's Dito Dracena got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Albertino Medeiros. Edmundo Eger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leopoldo Lara's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Leopoldo Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmundo Eger having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cabori walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
