Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ciro Netto took the kick off in the first half of the match. Albertino Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Telmo Maranhense in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Codajas's goal looked a bit too open when Gilson Ceresso came free, but Jefferson Furtado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Codajas getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Adriano Tinoco hit a great ball. If Gilson Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes into the game, Codajas's Telmo Maranhense nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Albertino Medeiros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Telmo Maranhense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Codajas's supporters rose to their feet, but Telmo Maranhense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albertino Medeiros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Telmo Maranhense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Albertino Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Codajas's Telmo Maranhense in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Catuicara AD's goalie prevented a goal. Ciro Netto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Albertino Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Codajas's Telmo Maranhense got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, Codajas's goalkeeper Jefferson Furtado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leopoldo Lara.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilson Ceresso to strike the kick off in the second half. If Leopoldo Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 57 minutes into the game, André Luiz Pirani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Catuicara AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Codajas the free kick. The supporters of Codajas booed when Catuicara AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Luiz Pirani didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 62 minutes, Telmo Maranhense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Codajas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Telmo Maranhense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ciro Netto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertino Medeiros having to interfere. Codajas's Ciro Netto got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Albertino Medeiros successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Ciro Netto sped through Catuicara AD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Albertino Medeiros. In the 77thth minute of the game Ciro Netto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Catuicara AD's Albertino Medeiros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Albertino Medeiros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciro Netto's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Albertino Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Netto in the 91st minute of the match. Telmo Maranhense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
