A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristiano Fonseca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 65thth minute of the game Nelson Marinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Monsores AD's Cristiano Fonseca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edvaldo Meireles kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. A collision led to Monsores AD getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Edvaldo Meireles hit a great ball. If Nelson Marinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodoro Rezende's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Telmo Gonçalves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play.
