Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Joélson Mota started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 7th minute, Frédson Souto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 22 played minutes Jupara got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Almeida. 23 minutes into the match, Cipo's Eliseu Félix broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Luisão Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frédson Souto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Rodrigo Veloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cipo's Alex Marquez in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jupara's goalie prevented a goal. Raphael Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Marquez in the 40th minute of play. Alex Marquez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Raphael Santos came out and tried to block the shot, but Alex Marquez slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 42nd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
If Joélson Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cipo's goalkeeper Rodrigo Veloso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 59 minutes, Luisão Veloso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cipo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luisão Veloso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Luisão Veloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Frédson Souto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodrigo Veloso was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Sílvio Almeida charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sílvio Almeida the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Jupara getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Sílvio Almeida hit a great ball. Raphael Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisão Veloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cipo's zone, Frédson Souto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Veloso came out of the goal and Frédson Souto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 85 minutes into the match, Luisão Veloso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raphael Santos. Jupara's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luisão Veloso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Luisão Veloso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Alex Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cipo's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Marquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raphael Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raphael Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisão Veloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cipo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Jupara had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
