The supporters of Pedrosa AD booed when Tigrinho AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edson Quintal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bebeto Gomes. Tigrinho AD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Deivid Prado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nelson Cunha hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Enio Arruda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Bebeto Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, Enio Arruda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Bebeto Gomes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bebeto Gomes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Deivid Prado's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. When Pedrosa AD's Enio Arruda in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tigrinho AD's goalie prevented a goal. 38 minutes into the match, Deivid Prado notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Tigrinho AD's Bebeto Gomes. Bebeto Gomes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Deivid Prado was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Tigrinho AD's goal looked a bit too open when Deivid Prado came free, but Bebeto Gomes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute, Ismael Romero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Pedrosa AD's Bebeto Gomes threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Deivid Prado, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Deivid Prado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Bebeto Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedrosa AD's Paulo Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfredo Severo in the 66th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Pedrosa AD's goal looked a bit too open when Mário Macedo came free, but Paulo Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manfredo Severo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manfredo Severo succeeded in the game's 75th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manfredo Severo in the 82nd minute of play forced Pedrosa AD's goalkeeper Paulo Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute Manfredo Severo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deivid Prado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
