Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Manuel Messias kicked off to start the match. Aracui SS's Nilson Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jânio Valladares in the 9th minute of play. Dida Félix in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Anísio do Nascimento, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Percy Queiroz hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. If Dida Félix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 21 played minutes Momanas got a freekick which was hit by Arí Arantes. 22 minutes in the game, Serginho Esteves fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Anísio do Nascimento having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Momanas's goalkeeper Anísio do Nascimento had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dida Félix. In the 28th minute Manuel Messias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilson Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 minutes of play, Momanas's Manuel Messias made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nilson Leme was left in no man's land by his defense there! Manuel Messias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isaltino Figueiredo kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute of the game, Alfredo Moreira landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 43 minutes into the game, Téo Monteiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aracui SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Momanas the free kick. Nilson Leme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jânio Valladares, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The Aracui SS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Momanas were winning 0-1.

After having played for 52 minutes, Manuel Messias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Momanas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Messias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Aracui SS defense, Jânio Valladares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nilson Leme. The Aracui SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nilson Leme should have stopped the shot. Jeremias Vinhas hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Anísio do Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serginho Esteves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serginho Esteves in the 68th minute of play forced Momanas's goalkeeper Anísio do Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anísio do Nascimento was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 87 minutes into the match, Aracui SS's goalkeeper Nilson Leme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jânio Valladares. Dida Félix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anísio do Nascimento having to interfere. Agenor Nascimento hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When Jânio Valladares came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Momanas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jânio Valladares couldn't finish the play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Momanas walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
