In the 7th minute of the match Pedro Paulo Pernambucano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wanderson Campidelis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Wanderson Campidelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giuseppe Toscano, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Lacerdopolis's Wanderson Campidelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marquinhos da Silveira in the 17th minute of play. Trocary's Marquinhos da Silveira got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Júlio Alcântara hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the game's 27th minute Trocary's Chico Nascimento took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Wanderson Campidelis and thus the score was 0-1. 32 minutes into the match, Trocary's goalkeeper Belchior Secco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sandrinho Monteiro. When Yan de Carvalho came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Lacerdopolis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yan de Carvalho couldn't finish the play. If Yan de Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tiago Paraíba fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trocary's protests and gave Tiago Paraíba a yellow card for diving instead. Tiago Paraíba kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Yan de Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Belchior Secco having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Lacerdopolis's zone, Marquinhos da Silveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wanderson Campidelis came out of the goal and Marquinhos da Silveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Marquinhos da Silveira made the kick off in the second half. Giuseppe Toscano might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wanderson Campidelis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Giuseppe Toscano ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 57 minutes, Giuseppe Toscano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trocary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giuseppe Toscano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sílvio Dante during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 64 played minutes Trocary got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Dante. Trocary's Belchior Secco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandrinho Monteiro in the 65th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Sandrinho Monteiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lacerdopolis's supporters rose to their feet, but Sandrinho Monteiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Belchior Secco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yan de Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Belchior Secco having to interfere. In the 75th minute Yan de Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Belchior Secco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lacerdopolis's Wanderson Campidelis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Lacerdopolis from getting a goal against them. Trocary's Belchior Secco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yan de Carvalho in the 82nd minute of play. In the 86th minute, Marquinhos da Silveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Sandrinho Monteiro notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Trocary's Belchior Secco. Belchior Secco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 93 played minutes Lacerdopolis got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Messias. The Trocary supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Trocary would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
