Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anderson Zilles started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Diamantino Baiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinaldo Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. One of Quebrangulo AD:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Taji:s goal. 9 minutes into the game, Anderson Zilles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quebrangulo AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Taji the free kick. The supporters of Taji booed when Quebrangulo AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anderson Zilles didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Quebrangulo AD's Cacá Alves got a free kick in the 14th minute. Taji's Laerte Breckenfeld suffered a concussion in the 16th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After a rather tough play, Quebrangulo AD's Noel Rossi got a free kick in the 16th minute. A collision led to Taji getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Dino de Carvalho hit a great ball. Diamantino Baiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Reinaldo Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 29 played minutes Taji got a freekick which was hit by Chico Perez. Ediberto de Sena was a little too slow when Anderson Zilles got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 1-1. Noel Rossi kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Quebrangulo AD's zone, Diamantino Baiano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reinaldo Oliveira came out of the goal and Diamantino Baiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rd match minute, Quebrangulo AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Alberto Ramalho to maneuver through the defense. Cristiano Abraão was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 44th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 46th minute, Diamantino Baiano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Quebrangulo AD getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Paulo José Paes hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diamantino Baiano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Diamantino Baiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the game, Quebrangulo AD's Anderson Zilles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ediberto de Sena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 72nd minute, Anderson Zilles made a precise shot to the right of Ediberto de Sena. Taji's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. 4-1 became the score in the 78th minute when Cacá Alves elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 83 played minutes Taji got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Abraão. 90 minutes into the match, Taji's goal looked a bit too open when Cacá Alves came free, but Ediberto de Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Chico Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taji's supporters rose to their feet, but Chico Perez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reinaldo Oliveira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 98 minutes into the match, Quebrangulo AD's goalkeeper Reinaldo Oliveira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diamantino Baiano. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Quebrangulo AD fans cheered their team off the field, for while Taji had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
