Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Charles Teles started the match with the kick off. Arnaldo Cerezo's late challenge caught a Mattinha SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnaldo Cerezo helped the player get up and apologised. Arnaldo Cerezo hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Charles Teles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Abreu having to interfere. Charles Teles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the match, Mattinha SS's goal looked a bit too open when Rubinho Paranaense came free, but Sidnei Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zézinho Santana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Charles Teles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Holanda's Arnaldo Cerezo got his second yellow card of the match in the 21st minute. The referee ordered Arnaldo Cerezo off the ground. After a rather tough play, Holanda's Arnaldo Cerezo got a free kick in the 21st minute. Holanda's Rubinho Paranaense got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, Dedê Sena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sidnei Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubinho Paranaense in the 37th minute of play. Holanda's Abelardo Abreu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Holanda from getting a goal against them. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rubinho Paranaense to make the kick off. Rubinho Paranaense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute, Rubinho Paranaense fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With a little luck, Mattinha SS's Sidnei Castro got control of the ball when Rubinho Paranaense tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rubinho Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidnei Castro having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Holanda's Pedrinho Palmeira got a free kick in the 65th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Charles Teles in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abelardo Abreu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rubinho Paranaense got free with Sidnei Castro in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 71 minutes, Rubinho Paranaense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Holanda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rubinho Paranaense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mattinha SS's Charles Teles got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rubinho Paranaense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Sidnei Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Mattinha SS getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Caetano Monteiro hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Charles Teles in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abelardo Abreu saved Holanda from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Mattinha SS's Wilson Montenegro got a free kick in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Teles in the 86th minute of play forced Holanda's goalkeeper Abelardo Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Mattinha SS's Zézinho Santana in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Holanda's goalie prevented a goal. Zézinho Santana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Abelardo Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abelardo Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles Teles, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Rubinho Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidnei Castro having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
