Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The audience was convinced that Leonel Valadares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benedito Teixeira was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Sabara AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrézinho Vander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ramón Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Rômulo Nunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vitinho's Benedito Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiliam Vinhas in the 26th minute of play. Andrézinho Vander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedito Teixeira having to interfere. Ramón Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Rômulo Nunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Vitinho's Ramón Valle ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rômulo Nunes. Rômulo Nunes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Ramón Valle hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute Andrézinho Vander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedito Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Andrézinho Vander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wiliam Vinhas to make the kick off. When Alexsandro Pinho fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vitinho's protests and gave Alexsandro Pinho a yellow card for diving instead. Alexsandro Pinho hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Benedito Teixeira was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Edu Castro. Wiliam Vinhas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Andrézinho Vander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sabara AD's Rômulo Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinei Bertassi in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Wiliam Vinhas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sabara AD's zone, Ramón Valle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rômulo Nunes came out of the goal and Ramón Valle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74th match minute, Sabara AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdemar Arce to maneuver through the defense. Ramón Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Rômulo Nunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andrézinho Vander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 83 minutes into the match, Sabara AD's Wiliam Vinhas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benedito Teixeira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Andrézinho Vander had several of the Vitinho's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 85 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Benedito Teixeira as he didn't even see the shot coming. With a little luck, Vitinho's Benedito Teixeira got control of the ball when Andrézinho Vander tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 90th minute, Ramón Valle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rômulo Nunes was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Sabara AD's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
