The referee ignored Camba rufa city's protests and gave Roberto Mandrak a yellow card for diving instead. Roberto Mandrak kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. If Luiz Fernando Velloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute Durval Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvinho Sabóia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvinho Sabóia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 69 minutes into the match, Cajueirinho AD's goalkeeper Silvinho Sabóia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Durval Miranda. Durval Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Cajueirinho AD's Luiz Fernando Velloso got a free kick in the 75th minute. Cajueirinho AD's Silvinho Sabóia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nico Pena in the 84th minute of play. With a little luck, Cajueirinho AD's Silvinho Sabóia got control of the ball when Durval Miranda tried to sneak it across the goal line. Silvinho Sabóia was a little too slow when Nico Pena got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 0-3.
