In the 6th minute Mathias Falcão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdo Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 6 played minutes Cola na banca F.C.S got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Veiga. The audience was convinced that Cleiton Paulista's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amauri de Queirós was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. In the 12th minute, Marcos Cerezo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amauri de Queirós was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 16th minute, Marcos Veiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cleiton Paulista took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amauri de Queirós. Amauri de Queirós dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. With an all-out effort, Araguaina Fc's Valdo Santana threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mathias Falcão, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Valdo Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After the first half Cola na banca F.C.S were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Cleiton Paulista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amauri de Queirós having to interfere. Marcos Cerezo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Amauri de Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valdo Santana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathias Falcão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th play minute Cleiton Paulista came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Amauri de Queirós. 1-3. Araguaina Fc's Amauri de Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Pimenta in the 79th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Cola na banca F.C.S's goal looked a bit too open when Murilo Xavier came free, but Valdo Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Raimundo Mangueira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valdo Santana. Cola na banca F.C.S's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raimundo Mangueira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Cola na banca F.C.S's Valdo Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias Falcão in the 85th minute of play. If Cleiton Paulista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
