Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Armandinho Salles started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Veadeiros's zone, Armandinho Salles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amauri Bueno came out of the goal and Armandinho Salles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 12 minutes into the match, Meaipe AD's goalkeeper Edgard Pirani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel Silva. Through an outstanding action, after 14 minutes, Edgard Pirani successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Meaipe AD's Armandinho Salles got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Veadeiros's goal looked a bit too open when Armandinho Salles came free, but Amauri Bueno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gabriel Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cristian de Amaral fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Meaipe AD's protests and gave Cristian de Amaral a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Meaipe AD's Cristian de Amaral got a free kick in the 26th minute. 36 minutes into the game, Meaipe AD's Aloísio Recife nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amauri Bueno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Aloísio Recife fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amauri Bueno having to interfere. In the 48th minute Vladimir Félix suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. A collision led to Meaipe AD getting a freekick after 49 minutes play. Vítor de Sousa hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabriel Silva to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the game, Meaipe AD's Aloísio Recife nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amauri Bueno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Aloísio Recife had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Meaipe AD's Armandinho Salles got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 1-3 became the score in the 72nd minute when Aloísio Recife elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, Meaipe AD's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Silva came free, but Edgard Pirani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Edgard Pirani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 86 played minutes Veadeiros got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Silva. If Aloísio Recife had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armandinho Salles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amauri Bueno having to interfere. Doriva Dante hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute, Armandinho Salles reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Amauri Bueno. The goal made the score 1-5. Meaipe AD played a much better game than Veadeiros and deserved their victory. The Veadeiros players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
