Vânderson Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cléberson Mattos having to interfere. Serafim Leme came free with the goalkeeper in the 16th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Egídio Braga could save by the left post. Papuda FC's Cléberson Mattos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vânderson Andrade in the 18th minute of play. If Ezequiel Velloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iuri Mello in the 26th minute of play forced Papuda FC's goalkeeper Cléberson Mattos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iuri Mello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Cléberson Mattos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ezequiel Velloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Egídio Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luisão Magalhães kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ezequiel Velloso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Egídio Braga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ezequiel Velloso went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafim Leme in the 58th minute of play forced Tapejara's goalkeeper Egídio Braga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vânderson Andrade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Cléberson Mattos made a huge save. Egídio Braga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Serafim Leme's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Iuri Mello was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 66th minute. Tapejara's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Wanderson Madureira hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 69thth minute of the game Iuri Mello who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Papuda FC's Cléberson Mattos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cléberson Mattos was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Iuri Mello capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Iuri Mello really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. In the 74th minute of the match, Vânderson Andrade got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cléberson Mattos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 74 minutes, Ivo Vides mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tapejara and the Papuda FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Serafim Leme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egídio Braga having to interfere. If Vânderson Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Papuda FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Iuri Mello scored to the left of an out of position Cléberson Mattos, making the score, 3-3. Iuri Mello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Cléberson Mattos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the game, Serafim Leme cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Egídio Braga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 95th minute of the match, Iuri Mello tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cléberson Mattos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Papuda FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
