The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nico Secco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldemar Ortiz in the 6th minute of play. Aciline's Adhemar Paranaense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Aciline from getting a goal against them. After 16 played minutes, MaraBaly's Jano Sampaio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Adhemar Paranaense came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MaraBaly reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Waldemar Ortiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aciline's supporters rose to their feet, but Waldemar Ortiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nico Secco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 22 minutes into the match, Aciline's goal looked a bit too open when José Maria Falcão came free, but Adhemar Paranaense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Waldemar Ortiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nico Secco having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Aciline's zone, José Maria Falcão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adhemar Paranaense came out of the goal and José Maria Falcão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Arthur Souto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arthur Souto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Adhemar Paranaense. 3-0. In the 75thth minute of the game Arthur Souto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aciline's Adhemar Paranaense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Waldemar Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Enrique Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adhemar Paranaense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arthur Souto in the 83rd minute of play. If José Maria Falcão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute.
