Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Guga Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Lopes in the 8th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Gualter Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renatinho Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, Sérgio Velasco had to leave the field with a concussion. After 11 minutes, Filipe Marques mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zoio FC and the Vargem players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vargem's Glauco Lago was substituted for Sérgio Velasco. Júnior Mello's late challenge caught a Zoio FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Júnior Mello helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Vargem getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Júnior Mello hit a great ball. After 18 minutes, Sílvio Luiz Brito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vargem and the Zoio FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 20th play minutes Noel Alves shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Guga Macedo and just under the crossbar into goal. Gualter Aguiar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Renatinho Salles. Zoio FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Renatinho Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Luiz Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute, Sílvio Luiz Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Noel Alves got free with Guga Macedo in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paulo da Fonseca's late challenge caught a Zoio FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulo da Fonseca helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Vargem's Paulo da Fonseca got a free kick in the 40th minute. 42 minutes into the game, Zoio FC's Rodolfo Lopes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guga Macedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Renatinho Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Glauco Lago, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Sílvio Luiz Brito made the kick off in the second half. Renatinho Salles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adilson Munhoz in the 53rd minute. 59 minutes into the game, Vargem's Sílvio Luiz Brito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Renatinho Salles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Renatinho Salles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adilson Munhoz went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Rodolfo Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Guga Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guga Macedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Mineiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Rodolfo Lopes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sílvio Luiz Brito hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Zé Branco kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After having played for 81 minutes, Adilson Munhoz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vargem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adilson Munhoz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Adilson Munhoz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Renatinho Salles. Zoio FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adilson Munhoz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. If Gualter Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodolfo Lopes in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guga Macedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 96 minutes of play, Zoio FC's Noel Alves made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guga Macedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vargem's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
