Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Naldo Guerra kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd minute of the match João Pedro Melo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maurinho Valladares showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Adilson Munhoz came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Vargem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adilson Munhoz couldn't finish the play. When Vargem's Sílvio Luiz Brito in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Prevenido EC's goalie prevented a goal. Gualter Aguiar struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Maurinho Valladares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vargem. 23 minutes into the match, Prevenido EC's goal looked a bit too open when Gualter Aguiar came free, but Maurinho Valladares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24thth minute of the game Sílvio Luiz Brito who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Prevenido EC's Maurinho Valladares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maurinho Valladares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Luiz Brito in the 26th minute of play. After 28 minutes, Adilson Munhoz made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Prevenido EC's Maurinho Valladares tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 31 minutes, Percival Mendonça managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Prevenido EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Percival Mendonça was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd minute Naldo Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guga Macedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sílvio Luiz Brito in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maurinho Valladares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Percival Mendonça got free with Guga Macedo in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sílvio Luiz Brito in the 37th minute of play forced Prevenido EC's goalkeeper Maurinho Valladares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 41 minutes, Percival Mendonça mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Prevenido EC and the Vargem players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adilson Munhoz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maurinho Valladares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. In the 47th minute Sílvio Luiz Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurinho Valladares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Vargem were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sílvio Luiz Brito made a kick off. Adilson Munhoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurinho Valladares having to interfere. If Adilson Munhoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maurinho Valladares was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Sílvio Luiz Brito capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sílvio Luiz Brito really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Adilson Munhoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vargem's goalkeeper Guga Macedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Guga Macedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Linhares, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Maurinho Valladares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualter Aguiar in the 79th minute of the match. Adilson Munhoz scored 0-5 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maurinho Valladares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. João Pedro Melo kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Guga Macedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Percival Mendonça in the 91st minute of play. Gualter Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurinho Valladares having to interfere. Vargem's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
