Wellington Tasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Manuel Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Célio Sena made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Marquinhos de Medeiros sent off a good shot on target. After 15 played minutes Abelardo Ribeiro rounded Salgueiro's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Umberto Rodrigues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wellington Tasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Tibagy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wellington Tasso came free, but Umberto Rodrigues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wellington Tasso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Umberto Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Tibagy FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Marquinhos de Medeiros hit a great ball. Wellington Tasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Allan Batista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wellington Tasso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Umberto Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Edgar Pimenta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cássio Braga's late challenge caught a Salgueiro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cássio Braga helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th minute, Edgar Pimenta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

51 minutes into the match, Tibagy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wellington Tasso came free, but Umberto Rodrigues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arlindo Gomes struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Umberto Rodrigues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salgueiro. If Allan Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, Salgueiro's Wellington Tasso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Umberto Rodrigues narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wellington Tasso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Umberto Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Arthur Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgar Pimenta, 65 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Wellington Tasso who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Umberto Rodrigues when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Manuel Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Umberto Rodrigues having to interfere. 72 minutes into the game, Tibagy FC's Abelardo Ribeiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Célio Sena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The supporters of Tibagy FC booed when Salgueiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arlindo Gomes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 82 played minutes Salgueiro got a freekick which was hit by Arlindo Gomes. 86 minutes into the game, Wellington Tasso lined in a short shot 2-2 behind a frustrated Umberto Rodrigues. The crowd rose to their feet as Wellington Tasso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Umberto Rodrigues. That made the score 2-3 in the 92 minute of play. Wellington Tasso struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Umberto Rodrigues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salgueiro. Salgueiro's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
