Ascurra SS's Kaká Quintal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Cruz in the 42nd minute of play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kaká Quintal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. PARNAHYBA's Paulo Pinho got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcos Quirino struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Kaká Quintal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PARNAHYBA. A hard shot 92 in the game by Paulo Pinho from a close distance when the talented Kaká Quintal managed to make a qualified save. Ascurra SS's players were relieved. When the match was over PARNAHYBA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ascurra SS throughout the match.
