Brejaubinha SS's Aírton Novaes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Brejaubinha SS from getting a goal against them. 8 minutes into the match, Patitucci FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anderson de Lara came free, but Dráuzio Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Anderson de Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hélio da Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Aírton Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Patitucci FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anderson de Lara came free, but Dráuzio Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute Anderson de Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dráuzio Massa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hélio da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ian Prestes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Dráuzio Massa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Anderson de Lara came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Brejaubinha SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anderson de Lara couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Hélio da Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Brejaubinha SS's Edgar Toscano got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Aírton Novaes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélio da Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Jairo Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aírton Novaes having to interfere. Jairo Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Aírton Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Senna in the 72nd minute of play forced Brejaubinha SS's goalkeeper Aírton Novaes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dráuzio Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anderson de Lara in the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st minute of the match, Anderson de Lara tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dráuzio Massa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 82nd minute, Jairo Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dráuzio Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anderson de Lara in the 88th minute of the match. Cássio de Queirós's late challenge caught a Patitucci FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cássio de Queirós helped the player get up and apologised. Hélio da Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aírton Novaes having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
