Jairo Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Osvaldo Pitta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Augusto Capixaba in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dráuzio Massa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 13th match minute, Patitucci FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Durvalino Secco to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Augusto Capixaba in the 14th minute of play forced Patitucci FC's goalkeeper Dráuzio Massa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Olívio Reis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Patitucci FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FrangoMal FC the free kick. Olívio Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Carlos Augusto Capixaba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jairo Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Pitta having to interfere. Vivaldo Félix hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 29th match minute, FrangoMal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Didi Seco to maneuver through the defense. Patitucci FC's Dráuzio Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Augusto Capixaba in the 34th minute of play. Durvalino Secco hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the match, Patitucci FC's Hélio da Cunha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Osvaldo Pitta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Didi Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dráuzio Massa having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Augusto Capixaba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dráuzio Massa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Augusto Capixaba, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Carlos Augusto Capixaba managed to get in a good position for a shot. FrangoMal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Augusto Capixaba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dráuzio Massa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dráuzio Massa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Didi Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Patitucci FC's Olívio Reis got his second yellow card of the match in the 64th minute. The referee ordered Olívio Reis off the ground. Olívio Reis hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Hélio da Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Patitucci FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hélio da Cunha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osvaldo Pitta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dráuzio Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Augusto Capixaba in the 72nd minute of the match. A collision led to Patitucci FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Perivaldo Massa hit a great ball. Dráuzio Massa came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by FrangoMal FC's Carlos Augusto Capixaba. But to his dismay, Carlos Augusto Capixaba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When Carlos Augusto Capixaba came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the FrangoMal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Augusto Capixaba couldn't finish the play. 81 minutes into the match, Patitucci FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Augusto Capixaba came free, but Dráuzio Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Augusto Capixaba in the 82nd minute of play forced Patitucci FC's goalkeeper Dráuzio Massa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FrangoMal FC's Anísio Castro pulled a muscle in his back after 83 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Jairo Senna fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Patitucci FC's protests and gave Jairo Senna a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th match minute, Patitucci FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Senna to maneuver through the defense. Dráuzio Massa came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by FrangoMal FC's Carlos Augusto Capixaba. But to his dismay, Carlos Augusto Capixaba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Belmiro Souza might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dráuzio Massa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Belmiro Souza ran back to his position shaking his head.
