Aírton Novaes came out of the goal and Carlos Augusto Capixaba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Augusto Capixaba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute Didi Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aírton Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Brejaubinha SS booed when FrangoMal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Belmiro Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 19 minutes, Didi Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FrangoMal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Didi Seco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 20th minute Didi Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aírton Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th match minute, Brejaubinha SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinei Rosado to maneuver through the defense. Romário Matorin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aírton Novaes. Brejaubinha SS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Aírton Novaes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Didi Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Augusto Capixaba struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. In the 43rd match minute, Brejaubinha SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinei Rosado to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the match, Brejaubinha SS's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Augusto Capixaba came free, but Aírton Novaes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aírton Novaes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Didi Seco got free with Aírton Novaes in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlos Augusto Capixaba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Aírton Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aírton Novaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Augusto Capixaba in the 68th minute of the match. Cássio de Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. If Ian Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. After 97 played minutes, FrangoMal FC's Didiet Drogba shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aírton Novaes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FrangoMal FC reached it. FrangoMal FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Brejaubinha SS to leave the ground with a draw.
