Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Geovânio dos Santos took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willian Pontes in the 5th minute of play forced Paty FC's goalkeeper Rogério Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute Geovânio dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paty FC's Rogério Peres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willian Pontes in the 7th minute of play. Juninho Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Sebastião Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 10 played minutes Palheta FC got a freekick which was hit by Anderson Mendes. Rogério Peres came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Palheta FC's Geovânio dos Santos. But to his dismay, Geovânio dos Santos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 16 minutes into the match, Dário Furtado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastião Rocha. Palheta FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dário Furtado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Dário Furtados short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Sebastião Rocha to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Paty FC booed when Palheta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Marinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Juninho Borges hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dário Furtado in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastião Rocha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rogério Peres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willian Pontes in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Willian Pontes made a precise shot to the right of Rogério Peres. Paty FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After 33 played minutes Paty FC got a freekick which was hit by Décio Tepedino. Willian Pontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Rogério Peres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paty FC's Dário Furtado got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Palheta FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Jacinto Marinho hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dário Furtado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Palheta FC's Sebastião Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeu Moura in the 53rd minute of play. Dário Furtado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the match, Paty FC's Dário Furtado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebastião Rocha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 63 minutes, Juninho Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paty FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juninho Borges was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Palheta FC's zone, Dário Furtado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastião Rocha came out of the goal and Dário Furtado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 69 played minutes Paty FC got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Fernandes. Dário Furtado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sebastião Rocha having to make a save. Dário Furtado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastião Rocha having to interfere. Sebastião Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dário Furtado in the 81st minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Régis Nóbrega had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastião Rocha. Palheta FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Régis Nóbrega was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. After a defensive mix-up in Palheta FC's zone, Régis Nóbrega stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastião Rocha came out of the goal and Régis Nóbrega tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paty FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
